ERG is seeking a full-time project administration specialist for its Chantilly, VA office to support ERG staff throughout the company, along with EPA and other federal clients. This position will occasionally require local travel to client sites in DC, MD, and VA.
Job Description: Prepare financial progress reports including developing tracking spreadsheets, summarizing data in Microsoft Access and Excel, reviewing information, and overseeing reports through the review and distribution processDevelop and maintain project planning tools, including action item tracking spreadsheets, project calendars, budget updates, and flow chartsAssist in preparing final deliverables that may include copying, binding, document assembly, coordinating with printing and binding services, as well as transporting urgent deliverables to client sites May also include preparing electronic deliverables, including ensuring compliance with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities ActSupport data entry tasksOrganize and set up teleconference, web-enabled, and in-person technical meetings as requiredOrganize and maintain key management assets and process documents in SharePointAssist in preparing technical reports in Microsoft Word by developing polished, formatted documents including developing complex tables and inserting figures and other graphicsOccasionally attend client meetings with the project teamQualifications and Skills: An Associate’s Degree (minimum GPA of 3.0) or at least 3 years of direct administrative experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Package and Adobe AcrobatProficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically in creating/managing worksheets, charts, and graphs, including writing equationsProficiency in advanced Microsoft Word functions (including using styles, equations, tables, table of contents, auto numbering, graphic boxes, bookmarks, templates, merges, captions, and references)Ability to work on multiple projects and meet required deadlinesStrong organizational and planning skills, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks (with limited oversight) and meet deadlinesWill be responsible for managing workload and proofing own workProactively learns new skills in the Microsoft software suiteProactively proposes solutions to streamline existing processesWillingness and ability to learn new software and technical skills required for planning, report preparation, and financial reporting, including, but not limited to, Visio, MS Project, and Adobe ProfessionalIdeal Candidates will have: Experience in federal contract reporting and trackingERG offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a generous 401k plan, profit sharing, an EAP, 11-20 paid vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays per year, 56 hours or more of sick leave (based on the state you work in) per year (pro-rated for part-time) and more.
