Responsibilities
As a Federal Business Development Manager, you will function as Practice Area Strategic Leader for Isos professionals in service of our Atlassian Professional or Managed Services clients. You will have the following responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (VP of Operations, VP of Strategy, Contracts, Finance) and external strategic partners. Meets regularly with internal stakeholders and strategic partners to review pipeline and capabilities
Develop capture strategy, builds strategic relationships with competitors, and possible teaming partners
Attend events and networks with relevant stakeholders
Maintain and develop with inbound vendor leads (Carahsoft, Atlassian, AWS, etc.)
Develop capture plans to drive and generate new leads within the Department of Defense and the Federal Civilian sector
Work with marketing to develop communications for target organizations
Demonstrate and cultivate Consulting Mindset throughout the team within the practice area
Maintain lead documentation for new opportunities, including business intelligence, competitive analysis, contract vehicle awards, potential teaming agreements, potential competitors, incumbents, etc.
Contribute to proposal artifacts such as previous performance statements, resumes, technical volumes, teaming agreements, cost volumes, risk matrix, etc.
Route NDAs through Isos channels and maintain a list of companies we are under NDA for future opportunities
As a Federal Business Development Manager, you have the following expectations:
Isos' Atlassian Platinum Partnership is dependent on having certified and accredited resources. You will acquire and maintain the required technical and sales certifications in your first calendar year of employment and every subsequent year thereafter
Maintain strategic alignment with Isos Executive Team and assist in translating that to the rest of Isos through words and by example
Cultivate and maintain relationships within Atlassian to help provide guidance, leadership, and influence to the direction of Atlassian tools, with the ability to translate that back to how Isos goes to market in the future
Regularly contribute informative and engaging original content to be used in Isos' Atlassian Support and Services marketing efforts in the form of whitepapers, blog posts, and social media status updates
Successfully fulfill the responsibilities of the position and contribute to the success of Isos Service Delivery
May contribute or coordinate training activities internally or externally from time to time
