Project Manager (SharePoint)

Title: Project Manager (SharePoint)
Location: 100% remote (Preference to East Coast candidates)

The role description is below, we need someone who has a strong SharePoint background and project management skills. The PM will not be solely responsible for any SharePoint projects but will work across multiple projects to assist with initial set-up, ensure customer alignment and delivery. They will work alongside our vendor partners who will be responsible for the development & delivery of the SharePoint sites. This is a customer facing role.


Role Summary:
Initial review of engagement requests to ensure all necessary information is available – follows up if necessary
Consults business functions in scoping projects, defining a problem statement, and developing IT requirements from business requirements.
Determines operational feasibility of software and device solutions by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements analysis, and solution configuration.
Triage of the projects to the appropriate vendor
Attend project meetings for the higher dollar, higher visibility projects to ensure project is progressing as planning – liaise between customer and vendor teams where necessary
Escalates and works to resolve issues when they arise
Works with Service owners to assist with day-to-day SharePoint Services Operational activities
Basic Qualifications:
The resource needs a very good working knowledge of SharePoint 2016/2019 and should have worked on SharePoint Development & Migration projects
Need to have very strong Project Management Skills
Need to have good experience in Project Management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Needs to be a good communicator, capable of working with diverse teams (business, technical etc.)
Ability to configure SharePoint list, libraries permissions proficiently.
A good understanding of CSS, JavaScript, and HTML is also a plus (but this is not a custom solution development role).
Need to have a strong Customer Service Skills
