Job description

IT Business System Analyst / Project Manager – Finance
Long Term Contract
NYC/Remote
  • 15+ years in the role of business analyst building data systems across Banking and Financial industry. 5 years of experience with a major CFO Financial system
  • Good understanding of GL and Financial data.
  • Good understanding of Balance Sheet Subledger, Off Balance Sheet, Income Statement Subledger, Customer Profitability
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)
  • Advanced to expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques, as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in working with enterprise Finance, IT, product owners, cloud architects, and development team to review and confirm the requirements for Enterprise Datawarehouse projects preferably using AWS
  • Work closely with the financial system application owners and the Data Architects to discuss and design different scenarios of the project
  • Review all artifacts provided by the functional analyst to ensure understanding prior to creating solution design
  • Organize workshops to review data mapping, gaps, and follow up with action items
  • Experience with Agile Scrum concepts such as scrum meeting, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, and release planning
