Job description

This is a remote position.

Join CloudGeometry! We are an expert managed cloud services consultancy and cloud-native systems integrator. As an AWS-recognized SaaS Competency & Advanced Consulting Partner and a member of the CNCF, we work on diverse B2C and B2B products for the US and global markets. With offices in Montenegro, Romania, the Czech Republic, and Germany, we have a wide-reaching presence.

About the Project: We're currently collaborating with a publicly-traded American media company, the second-largest television station operator in the US. Our project involves building a best-in-class digital marketing platform for local media and digital agencies. This SaaS-based platform aims to streamline ad campaign management, reporting, and analytics.

We are looking for a Node.js Developer with B2 english level minimum who will be responsible for:

  • Be 100% hands-on in adding new features for existing web applications

  • Review the code, maintain the repository, be an end-to-end point of responsibility for the back-end stack and solutions

  • Participate in new product development and planning

  • Ensure 100% consistent documentation

  • Participate in conf. calls and SCRUM ceremonies with global engineering team

  • Prepare the tech skill matrix, maintain interview scripts and assignments and run assessments for internal workforce

Stack: We use: TypeScript, Node.js / Nest.js, GraphQL & RestAPI, MySQL, Github, Github Actions, SonarQube, AWS, Jira, Confluence, ELK, Graffana, Jenkins, Gitlab
Requirements
  • 7+ year experience in software development
  • 5+ year experience in modern backend development with Node.JS/Nest.js
  • Team leadership experience
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of best usage scenarios of GraphQL / RestAPI
  • Excellent written and spoken English to communicate with US-based managers and colleagues
  • Architecture and system design skills
  • B2 English minimum
