Solutions Developer

A growing Network Security company headquartered in the Boston area is looking to hire a remote Solutions Developer to join their team! The ideal candidate for this position will have development experience for end clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team, with a great work/life balance!

Role Description & Responsibilities

• As a Solutions Developer, you will be responsible for developing customization & integration solutions for end clients.
  
• Responsible to deliver the design of the overall solution, through development of all the related code (predominantly Python).
  
• Work with our Services team and customers to define and create solutions.
  
• Work on the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the customers and contract.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of programming experience, with a strong knowledge of Python
  
• Experience developing customization & integration software solutions (use of APIs, connecting applications, etc.)
  
• Knowledge of client-side web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap) and server-side technologies (Nginx, Apache, Traefik, WSGI, Flask, Falcon, FastAPI)
  
• Knowledge of SQL,NoSQL,Key-Value Databases (Postgres, SQLite3, MongoDB, Redis), Git, Gitlab, Github, Jira and with test automation using Pytest, tox, and mocks
  
• Fundamental knowledge of Linux systems and administration
  
• Good to have experience working with (a) networking devices (Switches, Routers etc.), including virtual routing and software-defined networking OR (b) firewall administration/configuration (Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
