CI/CD Lead (Remote, UK)

We are a disruptive SaaS company developing software and services that revolutionize how clinical trials are managed and new drugs are brought to market. Established in 2012, we have taken the Pharmaceutical industry by storm and are looking for exceptional individuals to help us ride the wave of growth we are seeing. As part of our continuous growth, new product introduction and market expansion, we're seeking additional Back-End Engineer's to join our dynamic team. **

Responsibilities:**

• Ability to communicate with development, testing, release mgt. & operational teams
• Ability to document processes, technology usages
• Experience in defining and implementing CI/CD roadmaps & vision
• Experience in team building, for collaboration & innovation
• Excellent problem-solving skills, being strongly adaptable
• Excellent ability to communicate, train, mentor & coach people & teams about CI/CD principles, technologies & tools
• Ability to communicate progress & risk assessments to management & stakeholders

Technical skills:

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like GitLab (other tools are accepted, but GitLab is a plus)
• Proficiency with CI/CD ecosystem tools & technologies in general (artifact management, infrastructure as code, testing frameworks, deployment frameworks, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of skills around: Version control - branching & versioning strategies
• Automation of processes in CI/CD, from build, to test, to delivery & deployment
• Software development & testing processes

What You Need for this Position:

• Deep understanding of CI, CD & DevOps principles and best practices
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong experience collaborating with architects & software designers
• Familiarity with security constraints in a CI/CD ecosystem & in CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to code extensions to existing tools & processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Prior experience in CI/CD or a DevOps role, strong CI/CD culture
• Prior experience in a CI/CD leading role (team and/or project level)
