Responsibilities**

Essential Functions:

  • As a member of the clinical sales team, the CS provides technical, expert education primarily supporting education needs at academic institutions and/or clinical sites who have identified a need for clinical education within aligned territories, supporting 9-11 Territory Managers.
  • Works collaboratively as part of cross functional field teams including Market Access and Territory managers to integrate into all accounts, build trusting relationships, and establish strong rapport with customers.
  • Provides education to HCPs and HCPs in training on the safe and effective use of CooperSurgical products utilizing approved resources including didactic presentations and hands-on training of device insertion. Proficient in complex placement training and insertion support.
  • Develops and revises education and training materials to meet the learning needs of HCPs and ensures didactic materials are aligned with current literature including evidenced-based medicine and clinical practice guidelines relevant to products.
  • Participates in on-going literature review and/or CME sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of current clinical trends, newly published data, or updates in clinical guidelines relevant to contraceptive and sexual and reproductive health.
  • Fosters high trust relationships with customers, both internal and external, including the regional team members.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts including developing list of academic institutions and networks between academic institutions and clinic or hospital facilities within assigned territory.
  • Conducts evaluations and develops education strategies to complement sales strategies developed by Territory Managers.
  • Works seamlessly with Territory Manager(s) allowing them increased selling time.
  • Collects and studies information about new and existing contraceptive products and monitors competitor sales, prices, and products.
  • May attend trade shows where new products and technologies are showcased, and conferences to meet other representatives and clients, discuss new product developments, attend relevant scientific and clinical sessions applicable to contraceptive products and/or sexual and reproductive health.
  • May provide didactic and hands-on presentations at local and national conferences as part of negotiated agreement or in support of sales booth activities.
  • In conjunction with Sales Training, will help develop and facilitate training techniques for Territory Managers and HCP Presentations, in accordance with PARC Guidelines.
  • Maintains current licensure applicable to credentials including maintaining CME requirements.
  • Manage Regional Virtamed assets and deployment of tool(s) to training initiatives throughout the Region.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • RN, PA, or NP Degree. Master’s Degree in healthcare (clinical) or healthcare related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a clinical setting.
  • The ability to communicate, understand and educate on clinical data in the Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health space.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal, written and presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels and to large groups within and outside the organization.
  • Capable of building strong working relationships with internal/external customers.
  • Comfortable working in academic institutions with faculty across diverse specialties and settings.
  • Ability to conduct high quality education/training to customers in-person and/or in a virtual setting. Comfortable with a virtual teaching platform using appropriate technology.
  • Capable of working unpredictable schedule that may occasionally change on short notice due to schedule changes and or delays.
  • Accustomed to tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% within assigned region and/or outside assigned region, and/or conduct virtual education as requested/required. Capable of engaging customers in conversations to understand potential education and/or product needs.
  • Preferred: Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $100,000 - $125,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
