Regional Highway Lead – Greater Toronto Region

We’re reinventing our Greater Toronto Civil infrastructure team. Come be a part of our culture of empowerment and collaboration in the Highway unit. Parsons is a recognized firm in the planning and design of transportation projects in the Region. What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for a seasoned Regional Highway Lead to grow our business in the GTA.  A candidate with hands-on project management experience for at least three to five large Ministry of Transportation (MTO) detailed design highway widening and/or interchange modification projects can shape this position and the group to a model they know is successful.  In this role, you will oversee and manage the overall civil design team on both conventional and design/build projects for MTO highway programs. And play a key role in growing our business with the MTO.  We are currently working for the MTO on highway improvement projects and want to take advantage of the relationship to move into more highway design projects with the agency.  Supported by a strong design team the Regional Highway Lead will be managing design projects upon award. 

The position can be based in one of our four major offices, with a 100% remote option available for the right candidate.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

  • 15 + years of experience delivering major/significant MTO projects

  • Hands-on project management experience for 3 to 5 large MTO detailed design highway widening and/or interchange modification projects

  • Registered Professional Engineer

  • Proven background of leading multidisciplinary design teams on challenging, high-profile projects

What Optional Skills You’ll Bring

  • Project management experience for MTO Environmental Assessment and preliminary design projects
