Your missions

Responsible for the development and maintenance of communications networks.

MAIN DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES

  • Ensures correct operation of central computer systems and the central computer facility
  • Analyzes communications requirements, plans and implements network/communications facilities, and provides technical support on communications
  • Monitors daily maintenance of a communications network
  • Offers support of end-users. May include support for end-user acquisitions, help desk functions and end-user training. Has end-user support staff and help desk staff reporting
  • Has sole responsibility of at least one technical support function such as database, security, quality and standards
