** The desired candidate will be local to Austin, TX, however, any submitted candidate will be reviewed.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for development, core configuration, administration, maintenance, support, and technical expertise of ServiceNow implementation. You have a solution - focused mindset and the ability to provide excellent customer service, training, and support.

• Research and design technical solutions and implementations of strategic technologies and other modules.
• Develop scripts, workflows, and flows on the ServiceNow platform to automate tasks and integrations.
• Provide software configuration and customization including, but not limited to workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations.
• Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (REST, orchestration, and other relevant methodologies). • Assist and improve Service Mapping, CMDB, and Discovery processes including third-party integrations.
• Drive initiatives to identify, optimize and automate manual IT business processes to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable IT services.
• Build out scoped applications, customizations, and configurations based on customer requirements.
• Driving continual service improvement through establishment of best practices, reusable assets, and refinement of the implementation processes.
• Monitor health, usage, and overall security compliance of the application.
• Provide system administration and support for maintenance and break/fix.
• Perform system and integration testing. Implement changes across SDLC lifecycle.
• Document technical solutions and provide training in knowledge gaps.
• Work collaboratively with TxDOT ServiceNow team.
• A current US Citizen or green card holder and resides in the United States.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

6 Development and Administration in ServiceNow in ITSM, ITBM, CMDB, Service Catalog.
5 JavaScript, Jelly Scripting, Glide, HTML, XML and/or JSON.
6 Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to gather, understand, organize, and interpret relevant data and information.
4 Experience gathering requirements and designing to requirements.
4 Experience in developing and managing integrations with ServiceNow.
4 Familiar with Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST).
