Vice President of Strategic Solutions

JOB SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Strategic Solutions at Argano is the leader of the SAP pre-sales team, responsible for supporting the sales team and transitioning to the service delivery team. They will provide advanced technical product expertise and be able to build complex solutions for existing and prospective clients. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP S/4 HANA and the ability to develop and present complex technical solutions. They provide solution leadership to mid to large-size prospects and partners to help them understand advantages of Argano’s SAP offerings and solutions to meet their business needs including leading technical presentations, leading product demonstrations, proof of concept delivery, building integrated solutions, etc. while helping sell our services and solutions. This role requires in-depth knowledge of both SAP and Argano's products, services, and a proven track record of successful presales leadership. **

RESPONSIBILITIES:**

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand existing and prospective client requirements, objectives and to create winning sales strategies.
  • Lead in-depth discussions with clients to understand their technical requirements and objectives.
  • Design and present high-impact, integrated complex solutions that align with client needs and strategic goals.
  • Provide technical and solution insight for proposal responses, RFPs, and other documentation.
  • Build technical documentation, diagrams, demos and proofs of concept to support client solutions, with a consultative approach to identifying existing and prospective client needs and articulating Argano’s technical value proposition.
  • Manage team of other pre-sales resources and strategic solution principals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive intelligence.
  • Play a key role in getting to proof of value for the clients. Provide ongoing support and technical expertise to clients throughout the client lifecycle, with particular focus applied to program design, implementation, and onboarding.
  • Foster strong relationships with SAP to drive innovation and keep abreast of application changes and upgraded functionality.
  • Develop and lead advanced product training sessions for internal teams and clients.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • College degree, degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical, Business, etc. a plus. MBA a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 15+ years of experience in an SAP presales, solutions architect, or functional leader role.
  • Experience working in senior technical roles such as enterprise architect, solution architect, solution lead.
  • Experience working directly with large-scale enterprise clients and/or supporting sales, and success teams.
  • Experience working in SAP projects that delivered the full lifecycle of analysis, design, software development, architecture, integration, testing and deployments.
  • Experience working in a functional role in industry a plus. Detailed knowledge of a specific industry also a plus.
  • Experience with and comfortable presenting client executive leadership and large client groups.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical Expertise: Ability to explain technical details to clients and interface between functional business users and IT.
  • Product Demonstration: Proficiency in demonstrating SAP product features, benefits, and value propositions to potential clients. This role will be leading product demo resources but may at times require actual product demonstrations.
  • Complex Solutions: Proficiency in designing and presenting complex, multi-product solutions. Solutions include SAP and associated software applications along with Argano services.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions. Ability to communicate with client executives to include C level, business users, IT team members, and a variety of client resources including shop floor, warehouse, administrative, etc.
  • Team collaboration Support: Ability to collaborate with other teams (mainly the sales team to help close deals and meet sales targets). Act as the bridge between sales activity and project delivery.
  • Solution Design: Ability to design and propose customized solutions based on client requirements and available products.
  • Presentation Skills: Deliver engaging presentations to clients, effectively conveying the value of the Argano’s offerings.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to assist sales in closing deals with high-value clients. This includes the ability to rationalize solutions that have been proposed and prepare alternative options when needed.
  • Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring client satisfaction. This role frequently becomes the primary role the client looks to for expertise and many times a major reason that a client chooses Argano.
  • Multitask: Ability to prioritize multiple pre-sales engagements at a time
