Job Summary:
The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing new and update existing software for DYMO label printers across multiple platforms.

This position will:

Provide the opportunity to learn the latest technologies in the Microsoft stack
Provide the opportunity to learn and work in a variety of platforms including iOS and Android
Be part of a small focused team that will influence the future direction of DYMO Software.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree required
1+ years of Software Development experience in C# required
Knowledge of Windows desktop application development (.NET WPF/Windows Forms) required
Demonstrates proficiency in UI Development
Demonstrates expert knowledge of Software Design, Development, and best practices
Demonstrates strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Demonstrates fluency in English
Acts as a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented player
Acts as a strong team player
Fast learner. Willing and able to quickly get up to speed with new technologies and skills
Experience with MVVM a plus, but not required
C++ and Java Script preferred, but not required
Knowledge of printing systems, fonts or graphics a plus
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies a plus
Experience in development of Xamarin applications is a plus
Experience in development in a cross-platform environment is a plus
Experience in development of InstallShield is a plus
