Job description

Position: Insurance Business Analys
Duration: 6 month contract to hire, remote.

Looking for an Insurance BA to assist with some documentation and converting business requirements to developers.
  • Guidewire Project:
    • The inception phase will end in the first week of December.
    • Customization will be necessary as the out-of-the-box Guidewire solution won't fully meet the requirements. Estimated customization is about 5 to 10%.
    • An eye-opener for employees on the complexities of running such a large program.
  • Reinsurance:
    • Business wants to evaluate both products.
    • Vendor demos for both products will be conducted before the holiday break.
    • Decision on the vendor selection will be made before the end of the year.
    • Interviews for reinsurance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Business Analysts are planned for early December.
  • Rating Tool (Zyware Project):
    • There is a gap in business process documentation, leading to challenges in implementation.
    • Looking for a Business Analyst who can understand business processes, document them, and translate them for the development teams.
