React Native Engineer

Job Description

We currently have a career opportunity for a React Native Engineer to join our remote team. A successful candidate will have experience building complex mobile applications backed by RESTful JSON APIs.

Technology Consultants are responsible for the implementation and configuration of the technical infrastructure including web applications, layered software, hardware platform and operating systems. The Technology Consultant regularly consults with clients on best practices, issue resolution and experience guidance in order to improve the performance/reliability of client's technical environment. **

Responsibilities**

• Development of React Native applications for iOS and Android
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and accessibility
• Write clear, concise and well documented code
• Effectively manage timelines and expectations
• Technical Lead on one of more project squads
• Create and manage tasks for junior developers on the squad
• Review code and coordinate releases with other squads
• Create private NPM packages

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mobile application development experience
• 2+ years of experience with React Native
• A ‘can get done’ attitude
• Experienced in building mobile applications that consume RESTful JSON APIs
• Experience working with distributed development teams within an agile environment
• Deep understanding of how to optimize React Native apps for iOS and Android, including offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Additional experience in the following is preferred: Git, Redux, Mobile UI

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience using Azure Dev Ops for project management
• Experience using Code Push for app updates
• Experience leading/mentoring a team

The salary range for this position takes into consideration several factors when determining compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $45,864 to $101,520. Please note that the salary range listed for our US postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include benefits or any potential variable bonus programs, subject to rules governing the programs, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. **
