We are seeking an Outreach/Business Analyst who will perform outreach duties in Western Kentucky. This candidate will reach out to hospitals, physician practices and clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies to inform about KHIE and coordinate onboarding to KHIE.
Candidate will participate in outreach sessions, define and document business requirements and connectivity needs. Work with technical staff to ensure that the solution design meets the business requirements. Must have experience in business analysis, outreach, training and marketing on large scale complex systems.
Primary responsibilities:
· Serve as "champions" for KHIE participation
· Act as local points of access in the region for resource and referrals to KHIE, the Regional Extension Centers (RECs), and the Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs).
· Plan and coordinate outreach with the RECs through regularly scheduled meetings to maximize resources and avoid duplication
· Provide outreach education/information to providers (hospitals, provider practices and clinics, pharmacies, and labs) at multiple levels (one-on-one contact with hospitals and healthcare providers; contact at exhibit events, association meetings, and other speaking opportunities;) to include dissemination of KHIE "Welcome Packet", connectivity guide, and other resource materials
· Assist and engage providers during the intake and onboarding process to include scheduling intake calls, assisting with the execution of participation agreement, and transitioning providers from intake to technical onboarding; continue follow up, as required
· Assist with provider training/implementation, as required
· Assist in obtaining user feedback by organizing focus groups
· Engage a healthcare provider's 'Other Medical Trading Partners' in the region to ensure a robust HIE
