Our client, a leading player in the hospitality sector, is seeking a talented Senior UX/UI Designer to join their dynamic team!
As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital landscape of the hospitality industry. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, UX/UI Design, and Senior Director of Digital Design, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing strategic insights, championing best practices, and delivering cutting-edge designs that enhance user experiences across our client's digital platforms.
This is a remote contract opportunity where you'll have the chance to collaborate with industry professionals and contribute to innovative digital solutions that redefine guest experiences. **
Responsibilities:**
- Provide solutions to increase bookings, expand loyalty program, guest engagement, and elevate family of brands.
- Conduct competitive analysis to form educated suggestions on ways to improve the digital booking experience through testing. Use learnings to recommend ux solutions and present to Digital, Product Management, and Digital Analytics leadership.
- Maintain creative assets and update template files as necessary.
- Support marketing and property requests by mapping out efficient user journeys and intuitive content hierarchy.
- Support others to become great, passionate, talented designers.
- Document detailed user flows, define user interaction, and study competitive patterning.
- Design site maps, wireframes, page states, and prototypes.
- Full set of high-fidelity wireframes and designs for development handoff, specifically with regard to AB testing optimization.
- Guarantee deliverables are executed on target; assuring that quality standards are achieved and exceeded.
- Constantly innovate/ideate digital products and convey recommendations to senior leadership for new experiences.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed; giving detailed written direction to development and product teams.
- Produce user flows and architectural recommendations for digital projects of all sizes across all channels (mobile, tablet, desktop, and emerging).
- Collaborate directly with Digital Designers, Developers, Copywriters, Product Owners, Analytics, Brand Marketing, Loyalty, Content and Project Management.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Education: Bachelors
- 5+ years of digital design experience for a world-class creative agency and/or hospitality, entertainment, or retail brand.
- App & responsive web design experience required.
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Expertise in product design tools, i.e. Adobe XD or similar.
- Must supply examples of work/portfolio to be considered.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized; excels working collaboratively and independently.
- Strong prioritization/adaptation skills; ability to shift focus as business needs dictate.
- Highly engaged with digital products and has a passion for learning new technologies.
- Be results-driven, innovative, solutions-oriented, and curious.
- Ability to establish, strengthen, and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Keen sense of visual, design and usability solutions.
- Solid presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Expertise in information architecture and user-centric design principles.
- Understanding of CMS systems and web publishing standards/best practices; AEM a plus.
- Fluency in globalization and language best practices with regard to design a plus.
- Familiarity with Accessibility visual standards.
