We are looking for an experienced SDET Automation Engineer

Role:
We are looking for an experienced SDET Automation Engineer to join ClearRoute. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with a focus on test automation. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the quality and reliability of their software applications through the development and execution of automated tests.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using JavaScript, with a focus on Cypress test framework
• Collaborate with developers to identify and prioritize test cases for automation
• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline using Azure DevOps
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated tests
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
• Assist with onboarding new team members to the test automation framework and tooling
• Communicate test results and progress to the team and stakeholders
• Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development and testing, with a focus on test automation
• Programming skills in .NET would also be considered suitable for the role, even if the candidate doesn't have prior experience in JavaScript.
  
• Experience with Cypress test framework is a bonus
• Experience with Azure DevOps implementation is a bonus
• Additional DevOps experience is a bonus
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and improve
