As a Platform Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software platform. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless and high-performing platform. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. **

• Test Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans based on project specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Design test strategies that cover functional, performance, security, and compatibility testing.
  • Test Execution:
  • Execute test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and security of the platform.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features after code changes.
  • Automation Testing:
    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline repetitive testing processes.
    • Implement and utilize automation frameworks for efficient test execution.
    • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration\/continuous deployment (CI\/CD) pipeline.
    • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
    • Communicate test progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between development and testing efforts.
    • Performance Testing:
      • Conduct performance testing to assess the scalability and responsiveness of the platform.
      • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.
      • Documentation:
      • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
      • Document and communicate testing processes and best practices.
      • 8+ years of experience specializing in Quality Assurance
      • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.
      • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
      • Knowledge of security testing best practices.
        • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
