You Are**
UST is searching for a Lead Quality Analyst Engineer who will establish metrics, mentor the team members, manage variable staffing, and develop test programs. This position participates in coordinating testing aspects of large products using client-server technologies. **
The Opportunity**
- Identifies test approaches, coverage, requirement gaps, and risks.
- Works with the Business and Development Leads and helps the team make risk-based decisions
- Mentors employees and develops career paths with growth opportunities.
- Provides guidance and encourages/motivates employees in their daily efforts.
- Responsibility for balancing workload to optimize the effectiveness of the department.
- Writes detailed test strategies and plans, making full use of different test estimation techniques in assessing the best balance of coverage and efficiency for a project.
- Writes detailed test scripts to test the functionality of a proposed system.
- Ensures requirements traceability in the team and identifies areas for improvement.
- Prepares and manages complex test environments and test data conditions.
- Focuses on a solution-oriented approach and identifies complete end-to-end testing needs involving
- multiple parts of a product and system.
- Manages the validation test phase including executing scripts, monitoring testers, logging and tracking problems found, and regression testing any changes made to the system.
- Designs and manages automated test approaches for projects and ensures that manual tests are
- automated using suitable tools and frameworks for the product.
- Validates the completion of Integrated Testing and consults with development engineers in the resolution of problems and suggests functional solutions.
- Troubleshoots errors found in the test environment with minimal help from Development teams.
- Configures complex software solutions by following user guides and manuals.
- Analyzes defects functionally and technically before assigning them to Development teams.
- Supports project managers and other stakeholders to complete projects within schedule, without
- compromising quality.
- Raises quality issues to appropriate levels of management using established channels of escalation.
- Participates in scrum teams working on short sprints and ensures on-time delivery with high quality.
- Analyzes functional requirements and translates requirements into written test plans and detailed test cases for both front-end (UI-based) and back-end/database SQL Server applications.
- Works with offshore team to define and review testing approaches and monitors results of execution

What You Need**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Continuous learning, as defined by the Company’s learning philosophy, is required.
- Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.
- Strong knowledge of REST API testing (Postman)
- Knowledge of Agile process and SQL query
- Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to promote, influence, and execute automation agenda.
- Knowledge of team building and employee motivation theories with the ability to effectively manage a single cohesive functional employee team.
- Ability to interact with others to build consensus and get decisions implemented.
- Must demonstrate leadership ability and team-building skills to effectively manage professional and non-professional staff and interact with all levels of management.
- Ability to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure the success of the unit team.
- Ability to effectively exchange information, in verbal or written form, by sharing ideas, reporting facts and other information, responding to questions, and employing active listening techniques.
- Proven Ability to develop detailed solution designs and a strong understanding of Architecture Constructs (REST etc.) and Development Methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Ability to work with cross-functional technical teams and engage with senior and executive level staff, as well as with business partners and solution vendors.
- Possesses essential consulting skills, including planning and preparation, expectation setting, persuasion, negotiation, objection handling, tact & diplomacy, and sales and commercial awareness.
- Articulate and effective communicator and presenter with the ability to describe complex problems and solutions in simple or understandable terms.
- Substantial Manual Testing abilities.
- Functional automation with Selenium is a plus.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST HealthProof provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below. **
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for Role**
Remote: $62,000-$92,000
