SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Engineering team.

Locations: UK, Germany, or Serbia 

• Rasa is a 100% remote-first company, but we cannot hire anybody outside of the UK, Germany, or Serbia for this role.

• We can only provide work authorization (visa sponsorship) for candidates located in Germany.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re a startup, so you’ll have to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever is required to support our mission. You will collaborate closely with our Staff QA Engineer to define and implement robust quality assurance and test automation processes. As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll make an impact on your team by:

• Collaborating with developers to test new product features and write automated tests.

• Performing regular exploratory testing of new features to ensure smooth releases and minimize bugs in production.

• Writing automated tests and reviewing code to maintain the integrity and code quality of our full-stack TypeScript codebase.

• Optimizing CI pipelines (using Github Actions) to enhance efficiency and reliability.

• Providing valuable insights and asking the right questions during feature development to prioritize quality at every stage.

ABOUT YOU

You're passionate about software quality engineering and believe in fostering a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility. You excel at:

• Performing thorough exploratory testing to uncover potential issues.

• Writing automated UI and API tests using TypeScript-based frameworks like Playwright and k6. Ideally 2+ years of experience with Typescript and 3+ years of experience with test automation.

• Leveraging Docker for containerization and streamlining development workflows.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.) is a plus.
