Job description

On the Digital Natives team, our team helps shape the future of the big data landscape by working with the most sophisticated data engineering and data science teams in the world.

Reporting to the Field Engineering leader for Digital Natives, you will help build and lead a team of exceptional Solutions Architects, focusing on big data/analytics, Data Engineering and Data Science/ML. Leading the technical pre-sales team, you will partner with Sales to drive adoption and usage of the platform, and help those teams be wildly successful with our client’s platform.

The impact you will have:

  • You will rapidly hire, onboard, and enable a field engineering team for a company in hyper-growth mode.
  • You will help operationalize how we partner with Digital Natives, to enable our team to continue to scale (people and revenue), while improving the ROI of the SA team.
  • You will be able to position our client against competitive technologies in a compelling way
  • You will be able to handle questions and objections to our client’s product

What we look for:

  • 3+ years experience leading and scaling field engineering teams from scratch ideally at hyper-growth speed
  • 3+ years of experience selling highly technical products, that necessitate deeply technical Solutions Architects, to technical buyers
  • 3+ years of experience in the Big Data / distributed systems space
  • Track record of rapidly identifying and hiring top talent.
  • Great at instituting processes for technical field members to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Technical background / individual contributor in a technical role and proficiency in at least one programing languages
  • Team player that will work well with other teams (Sales, PM, CS)
  • [Desired] Experience in a second line leadership role, leading a team of leaders.
