Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the AX team supervise, assist, and provide guidance.
  • Identify, recommend, implement, and support ERP solutions. Ensure alignment with technology roadmaps. Envision, navigate, and decide on future projects and enhancements
  • Demonstrate the future state solution view of the articulated technical strategy in the context of AX2012 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related applications
  • Work with multiple stakeholders and users to ensure the proper technology implementation across the company
  • Analyse, design, develop AX customizations and interfaces using X++, Visual studio, SQL and SSRS.
  • Maintaining Dynamics AX environments (Dev, Test, Prod)
  • Ability to work systematically and logically to analyze solutions, resolve problems, identify causes, and anticipate implications
  • Lead to design technical set-ups and execution of project work streams
  • Update and communicate architectural implications of risks, issues, dependencies, and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assessing the feasibility of implementing technical solutions to achieve business outcomes; D365 upgrading, migrating data and interfacing to existing legacy solutions.
  • Leading Dynamics technical and functional team. Facilitate/ participate in the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution conflicts within and between projects or functional areas
  • Utilize specialist knowledge of business processes and the Microsoft Dynamics product suite to support the development and expansion of the solution footprint and meet business requirements
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by leaders in the business

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent ideal.
  • 10+ years of Dynamics AX experience including consulting and end-user environments.
  • Certified in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012/D365 Development Introduction.
  • Certified in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012/D365 Installation and Configuration
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience
  • Dynamics 365 upgrade experience.
  • Knowledge of full application life cycle design tools, methodologies, and large enterprise deployment experience in complex business environments
  • Good working knowledge of Dynamics AX technical/Development skills
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Experience with an object-oriented development language including X++ and .NET
  • Working knowledge of programming methodologies, structures, and concepts
  • Highly organized and with an ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Hands-On experience in data conversion and data migration for AX.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make major decisions
  • A preparedness to take the initiative and a strong desire to achieve results
  • Good general IT and Computer skills
