Job description

What you will be doing:

As a Professional Services Oracle Practice member, the Mid-Senior Oracle Cloud Integration Developer is responsible for strategic mobile application design, development, upgrade, migration, and support in on-premises and cloud environments for a global enterprise customer base. The developer reports to the Director of Professional Services. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, develop, test, and deliver customized barcoding and data collection solutions for use on mobile devices that integrate with Oracle Cloud or Oracle EBS on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with other team members to produce quality deliverables providing clear business value.
  • Be a steward of effective global communications in all its applications, including one-on-one, small groups, large groups, tradeshows, email, and chat.
  • Promote continuous improvement by participating in all lessons learned sessions for the practice. Ensure OpenSource, Knowledge Base articles, templates, and procedures are updated continually.
  • Multifaceted responsibilities extending into developing the right technological solutions to complex problems; contribute to enhancing the core product by submitting detailed feature requests and reporting defects while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Responsible for adhering to and contributing to the enhancement of RFgen quality standards, processes, and procedures to ensure quality delivery.
  • Participate in developing RFgen solutions in Oracle and other Professional Services Practices, including Deltek, JD Edwards, Microsoft, and SAP.
  • Train internal and external customers on the use and application of RFgen.
  • Participate in the sale and marketing of RFgen technologies and services, including but not limited to conducting discoveries, demos, and providing services estimates; speak at events and act as an industry expert through tradeshows and contributions to marketing materials.
  • Accurately track and log time daily in the provided system and report the status of activities and project deliverables to the assigned Project Manager.

Experience you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Demonstrated experience as a senior resource assisting in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading gap analysis including as-is and to-be business process designs, testing, and client technical and user training.
  • 3+ years programming experience with VBA, .NET, Web Services, JSON, REST, and/or other modern development languages and methodologies.
  • 2+ years programming from external systems that pull data from Oracle using API.
  • 2+ years designing user interfaces ensuring all interactions are intuitive and easy for customers across multiple form factors.
  • 2+ years professional experience with current and prior Oracle versions (Oracle Cloud and Oracle EBS). 
  • Experience with at least one full cloud implementation.
  • 2+ years experience with Oracle Supply Chain Modules – Order Management (OM)/Distribution, Inventory (INV), Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
  • 1+ years of experience developing solutions to authenticate against Oracle IDCS and other third-party identities as a service technology.
  • Experience with Order-To-Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (PTP) Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping, Global Order Promising (GOP).
  • Active involvement in the development of RICE (Reports, Integrations, Conversions, and Extension) components.
  • Broad experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Business Intelligence, and Big Data.
  • Understanding of on-prem and cloud-based data integration strategies including hybrid scenarios and offline capabilities.
  • Familiarity with OTBI, Oracle BI, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and Single Sign-On
  • Experience working per a clearly defined project scope, writing technical change requests, delivering against defined milestones; mitigating and remediating risk factors, and proposing solutions based on best practices.
  • Experience participating in discoveries, demos, and providing time estimates; public speaking.
  • Must collaborate with clients, identify engagement follow-on opportunities, and have a strong desire to excel.
