Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect with an exceptional understanding of CPQ from a design and architecture perspective. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in effectively designing and scaling CPQ solutions, following best practices. Experience in configuring CPQ is essential, and preference will be given to candidates who have successfully implemented CPQ solutions for companies with a SaaS + Hardware sales model. This role requires a hands-on approach, where the candidate will actively contribute to CPQ configuration.

Responsibilities:

1. CPQ Solution Design:
   • Lead the strategic design and architecture of Salesforce CPQ solutions, demonstrating a deep understanding of CPQ best practices.
   • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to comprehend complex business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient CPQ architectures.
2. Technical Leadership:
   • Provide strong technical leadership in CPQ, guiding development teams in implementing solutions that align with best practices and industry standards.
   • Act as a mentor to other team members on advanced CPQ design and configuration principles.
3. Hands-on CPQ Configuration:
   • Actively engage in CPQ configuration tasks, putting fingers to the keyboard to ensure effective implementation of CPQ solutions.
   • Configure CPQ components and rules in alignment with business requirements.
4. SaaS + Hardware Model Expertise:
   • Bring expertise in designing and implementing CPQ solutions for companies with a SaaS + Hardware sales model.
   • Tailor CPQ solutions to meet the specific needs and challenges of the SaaS + Hardware sales environment.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and administrators, to integrate CPQ solutions seamlessly.

6. Scalability and Performance:

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect, with a focus on design, architecture, and hands-on configuration.
• Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist or equivalent certification is mandatory.
• In-depth mastery of CPQ platform capabilities, features, and limitations.
• Strong expertise in CPQ best practices and design patterns.
• Demonstrated leadership in overseeing complex CPQ implementations.
• Hands-on experience with CPQ configuration, including creating rules, pricing, and quote processes.
• Experience working with companies employing a SaaS + Hardware sales model is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
