This role requires that the individual be highly engaged with clients in this vertical to help address their development and manufacturing challenges. How you will make an impact:

In this key commercial role, you will position Meissner’s product portfolio to directly establish adoption of our current and emerging process solutions into CGT customers’ process development as well as manufacturing processes. While driving growth to achieve revenue targets, you will focus on the US domestic CGT market and develop strategic relationships at targeted accounts. Your results will drive maximum share gain by fostering strategic teamwork. - Develop and implement a commercial/sales strategy for the Cell Therapy and Gene Therapy US domestic market. - Actively identify new prospects and customers in addition to growing business in existing accounts. - Oversee the sales process from lead generation to close. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Applications Engineering, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives. - Visit customers and prospects in North America regularly to promote strategic relationships and to identify new business opportunities.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • 7+ years of life sciences commercial experience, calling on Biopharma accounts.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related field.
  • Possess an excellent understanding of the competitive CGT landscape.
  • Interface with all levels of customer call points with emphasis on senior level relationships.
  • Perform necessary overnight travel as required, approximately up to 45% of the time, including some weekends.
