Work location: Remote Position (This role can be located anywhere)

Responsibilities**

The role works collaboratively with key business partners to ensure effective practices are implemented and clearly documented. Interacting with Finance, Planning, Quality, and Operations regularly to identify and meet business requirements. The role also works closely with all other global functions and partners to ensure end-to-end supply chain execution and consistency in approach.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the execution of improvement projects within Distribution and Logistics
  • Own tactical management for integration of shop floor alignment systems as assigned
  • Assist in the development of best practices including but not limited to:
    • Short term triage
    • Optimized process transition planning
    • Layout planning
    • Visual signal execution controls and signage
    • Replenishment optimization
    • ERP execution strategies and design testing as needed
    • Equipment / Automation selection and implementation
    • Consolidation and / or move strategies both internal and external including M & A demands
  • Identify and leverage current procedures and policies for further improvement and alignment integrating new best practice improvements as required
  • Make recommendations based on assessments and data to help drive future state best practices and timely gap closure
  • Identify, order, assemble, and install material handling equipment and signals as needed
  • Identify waste within practices using TIMWOOD and Six-Sigma methodologies
  • Assist in root cause analysis for problem reconciliation and involve all stakeholders in process.
  • Support merger and acquisition (M&A) integration and post M&A value creation by assisting to evaluate and align physical execution strategies to best practices as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 8 years related experience in a regulated field required
  • Experience using. setting up. and administering ERP. MES, AWS, WMS, TMS and other automation software and programs Required
  • Proficient using Microsoft office suite, ERP, and other automation software and programs. (D365 preferred)
  • Experience with financial, logistical, and shop floor performance analysis with strong business acumen
  • Healthcare, medical device or other manufacturing in a regulated environment experience preferred
  • Results driven, innovative, creative, and action-oriented; able to align and energize teams behind common objectives in a non-reporting structure
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and decision making skills and have the ability to solve complex problems and think innovatively in creating results for the company
  • May require up to 50% travel

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $95,000 - $118,000. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
