Job description

 

The Swim School Supervisor is a professional management role which includes facility management, office work, and customer interaction, employee supervision, marketing and swimming instruction.  This position is part of the management team and responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fun and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all customer inquiries in a manner that supports AquaSafe's mission, vision and values. 
  • Performs customer registrations and class scheduling which includes responding to all customer registrations in a manner that supports AquaSafe's mission. 
  • Possess mastery of all swim school policies and procedures in order to consistently communicate and fairly administer those policies and procedures. 
  • Ability to do office work, front desk work and swim instruction. 
  • Maintains accuracy, security and integrity of all customer records including personal, financial and class information. 
  • Works closely with other management staff in development and implementation of customer registration and billing functions. 
  • Required to be friendly and courteous at all times. 
  • General facility and pool operations maintenance 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Exceptional customer service skills  
  • Strong computer skills  
  • Strong communication skills (interpersonal and strong telephone presence) 
  • Ability to work any days of the week 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment 
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate, supervise and develop staff 

Strongly Preferred: 

  • Previous experience with swim instruction 
  • Experience working with children 
  • Knowledge of swimming pool maintenance & operation
