Data Architect

We are currently searching for a full-time Data Architect; this position is located in Dallas, TX, and could be remote.

The Data Architect is responsible for visualizing and designing the organization’s data management framework. This role is responsible for defining and documenting data standards and principles and the technical architecture of the enterprise data, including the physical components and their functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Document the data design of solutions for large projects and programs; through expert knowledge, translate high-level business requirements into data models.
• Provide clear, continuous, and consistent data architecture leadership at a detailed level within the project.
• Align the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex data systems and solutions with the enterprise data strategy.
• Work with the business intelligence and integration teams to develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data analysis.
• Define and manage standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure data quality set by data governance is applied.
• Ensure technology solutions are in alignment with data architecture principles and target state.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience with Data, Data warehousing.
• Five years of experience with more than one cloud-based DWH solution.
• Experience in migration projects related to DWH
• Proven experience defining the data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, master, and reference data.
• Experience with tools such as MS Visio, Erwin, LeanIX, Iserver
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with diverse project teams.
• Experience with more than one of the following: Redshift, Data bricks, Snowflake, Big query
