Job description

Remote | Full-time (2-5 years contract)

Company Description:

Our client is a modular blockchain network focusing on self-sovereignty. They decouple the currently popular "monolithic chain" into Execution layer, Settlement Layer, Data Availability and Consensus Layer. At the same time, they use the mechanism of modular stack and rollup technology in combination to make blockchain development faster and simpler, and also bring unlimited scalability to the network.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, both within and outside the community, fostering a sense of excitement and engagement.
  • Plan and execute developer-focused events, hackathons, webinars, and conferences to grow and bring the developer community together.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, tutorials, and resources to help developers integrate seamlessly.
  • Deliver educational content through various channels, such as Telegram etc.
  • Gather feedback/insights from developers and relay it to the product and engineering teams. Advocate for developers' needs and priorities within the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, particularly in the Cosmos ecosystem.
  • Serve as a passionate advocate within the developer community and at industry events. Promote our technology and contribute to its success.
  • Collaborate closely with COO and cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and engineering, to grow developer engagement and onboard new developers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a software developer or developer relations/advocate
  • In-depth knowledge of Layer-1&2 blockchain networks and Web3 protocols
  • Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Rust
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience in public speaking and hosting workshops is a plus.
  • Experience in writing documentation and producing technical content
  • Demonstrated experience in community building and engagement.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with open-source software development practices is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed for events and conferences.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English. Any other languages would be a bonus.
  • Prior experience in Cosmos not necessary but a plus
