DevOps/infrastructure engineer at Kamayi

Responsibilities:

1. Defining and developing continuous integration and deployment pipelines

2. Managing day-to-day operations of release pipelines, build tools, and source control software and resources

3. Deploying and provisioning infrastructure for other engineers

4. Performing ongoing maintenance and upgrades of DevOps systems (Production & non-production)

5. Troubleshooting & responding to downtime, performance degradation, and outside attacks

6. Keeping optimal infrastructure costs

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of experience with GCP (PubSub, Compute Engine, GKE, Memorystore, Cloud SQL, Cloud Run, Cloud Monitoring)

2. In-depth experience with orchestration tools (Kubernetes)

3. Experience with scripting languages e.g. JavaScript, Python, bash/command line

4. Experience with using package managers e.g. npm or yarn

5. Experience with Docker containers

6. Experience in CI/CD toolsets, specifically Github Actions and Cloud Build

7. Basic knowledge of typescript

Nice-to-haves:

1. Knowledge of Cardano and its core tools (db-sync, ogmios, kupo, scrolls, etc)

2. Experience managing Elasticsearch

3. Experience with IAC (Infrastructure As Code) tools such as Terraform

4. Basic knowledge of Rust

5. Ability to build charts and dashboards in Cloud Monitoring using MQL or others.
