Senior Frontend JavaScript Developer

Responsibilities
Build and maintain functional webpages and application solutions to meet required standards
and timelines
Act as a main contributor throughout the whole web development and upgrade lifecycle.
Use knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript & ReactJS/NextJS frameworks to complete projects.
Use knowledge of UI/UX design to improve User Experience.
Debug, troubleshoot and utilize problem-solving skills as required.
Ensure response on P1 defects is provided in timely manner.
Work effectively in a development environment that utilizes Agile methodologies Scrum/Kanban
Use professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software
development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management,
test-driven development
Demonstrate a commitment to learn, grow and take on greater levels of responsibility and
accountability
Attend team and project meetings as required, contribute and submit reports as needed
Use written and verbal communication skills in English as required to complete job tasks

Job requirements
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or closely related field
5+ years of professional experience in software development
Strong procedural and OOP programming skills
Strong knowledge of web technologies, HTML, CSS, Javascript frameworks
Strong knowledge of ReactJS, Next HS and Typescript
Experience with consuming RESTful APIs and be familiar with the Microservices Architecture
Debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Agile methodologies Scrum/Kanban
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software
development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management,
test-driven development
A desire to learn, grow, and enjoy the responsibility and accountability that comes with high
levels of ownership and autonomy
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience in a startup working environment is a plus
Nice to have:
Experience with Google, AWS, Azure cloud-based development, experience working with Docker
Containers, Kubernetes
