Position Overview:
As a Freelance Santali Audio Transcription Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping us transcribe audio content in the Santali language using the LOFT tool. Your primary responsibility will be to listen to audio recordings and accurately convert spoken words into written text. This role requires a strong command of the Santali language and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Audio Transcription: Transcribe audio content in the Santali language using the LOFT tool, ensuring accuracy and adherence to transcription guidelines.
Quality Assurance: Review and proofread transcriptions to maintain high-quality standards and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
Language Proficiency: Maintain a deep understanding of the Santali language, including dialects and variations, to ensure accurate transcription.
Deadline Adherence: Complete transcription tasks within specified deadlines to meet client requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with the transcription team and project managers to resolve queries and provide feedback on transcription projects.
Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and data security when handling sensitive audio content.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in the Santali language, including a strong grasp of grammar, vocabulary, and regional dialects.
Previous experience in audio transcription or linguistic analysis is preferred but not mandatory.
Attention to detail and excellent listening skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with transcription software, including the LOFT tool, is a plus.
