Construction Project Lead

Brighton Solutions is seeking a full-time Construction Project Lead to join the Construction Management division of a leading Civil Engineering Services firm. 

In this role, we are seeking individuals with a minimum of 10 years experience in construction project management. Ideally, we are seeking individuals that have a successful history of completing projects on time and under budget. About 50% of the projects the organization supports are public works, and 50% private. For the public works support, we are seeking at least 5 years of experience leading projects directly with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).

Candidates who have certification in materials testing should detail these certifications. 

Desired Skills and Experience

• BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related; MS preferred in Construction Management
• 10+ years of construction management experience
• Knowledge of Construction and Materials Manual (CMM), Standard Specifications for highway and structures construction (SPEC), and Facilities Development Manual (FDM),  Field Manager, Field Book and other construction related software
• Strong experience with project planning software applications and tools such as MS Excel
• IDOT experience is preferred.
• To excel in this position, you should demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
