Territory Sales Manager (Account Manager)

Area: North East / Yorkshire / Scotland

  • This is a home / field based role and requires very infrequent nights away (average once per month).
  • This role will initially be 60% new business vs 40% account management that will become more bias towards account. management as you win and then manage accounts on an on-going basis.
  • You will sell essential services into pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufactures, the NHS, Life Sciences and R&D sectors.
  • You will be required to build structured, long term relationships with customers dealing with Process Managers, Scientists,  Procurement and the NHS supply chain.
  • This a soft sell that requires a candidate that is process driven - lead times range from 6-18 months.
  • You will inherit 20 spending accounts and be tasked with growing the account base and then managing relationships moving forward.
  • The company have a mixed team and great culture - they are looking for a trust worthy person as they offer plenty of support but do work to strict KPI's and micro manage their staff.

The Candidate for the Territory Sales Manager (Account Manager)

  • We are looking for a  field sales professional with a STABLE TRACK RECORD who is able to manage existing relationships as well as hunt new business
  • You will need to be used to long lead time sales cycles
  • You will need to be a team player, honest and reliable
  • Whilst those that have sold into Pharma or the NHS would be preferred, our client is looking to recruit the right person over route to market experience

The Package on offer for the Territory Sales Manager (Account Manager)

  • £35,000 - £38,000 DOE
  • 25% OTE / Bonus
  • Hybrid company car
