Specification Sales Manager - commercial glazing / facades

M62 corridor

We are working with a world-class international construction manufacturer of facades and commercial glazing who, due to phenomenal growth are looking for a Specification Sales Manager to join their successful team.

The Role of Specification Sales Manager

  • This is a field / home based specification role. 
  • Winning, tracking and protecting specifications, you will be working on some of the countries most impressive new build commercial construction projects specifying glass / glazing facades that form the outside of commercial buildings.
  • The route to market is via architects (writing specifications) and tracking these through to Main Contractors such as Skanska, Balfour Beatty, Mace etc.  You will also deal heavily with glass and façade installers /contractors.  You will use Barbour ABI to identify projects.
  • As Specification Sales Manager, you will converse with Design Managers, Specifiers, Estimators and Procurement etc.
  • Specification values are normally between £5-£10 million
  • You will benefit from working with a market leading with a great historical reputation.

The Person for the Specification Sales Manager

  • Minimum of 3 years experience within specification sales in one of the following industries - 1. Glass / Glazing  2. Structural aluminium  3 Curtain Walling or aligned / related product.
