Responsibilities
•    Manage a secure and high-performance network infrastructure to support financial transactions, making sure the systems are up and running.

•    Perform regular monitoring of network traffic, monitoring alerts to proactively identify potential issues and optimize network performance for seamless financial operations.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring zero downtime. Work with Card Networks in case of network issues.
•    Conduct weekly network maintenance tasks, such as firmware upgrades and patch management, in alignment with industry best practices and company procedures.
•    Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
•    Participate in Incident Response & Disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure the continuity of financial operations in the event of a network-related incident.
•    Collaborate closely with IT and Operations teams to align network security measures with overall company policies and regulatory standards.
•    Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and security threats to continuously enhance the network's capabilities and resilience.
•    Participate in an on call rotation to provide support during off-hours and respond to network issues promptly.
•    Monitor network performance and proactively identify issues in case of network outages during on-call shifts.
•    Respond to alerts and incidents promptly, troubleshooting to identify the root cause, escalate when necessary
•    Proactively restart the servers if needed in case of outages.
•    Update the system status on the company website.
•    Notify internally about the outages within the company.
•    Send bulletins incase of outage higher than the threshold set by the team.
•    Serve as the first point of contact for incidents during on-call/graveyard shifts.
•    Participate in daily update of audit requirements/documents during on call shifts.
•    Update various alerts on internal page and notify team in case of anomaly.
•    Create and maintain a centralized documentation page for all change ticket.
•    Keep a detailed and up-to-date log of all change tickets, including information such as ticket number, requester, status.
•    Perform daily/weekly timed tasks as per given procedures and provide update to the team.
•    Participate in on-call rotation handover and communicate effectively with the team members.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
•    1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role
•    Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies.
•    Willingness and availability to work on-call hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
•    Hands-on experience with systems, routers, switches, firewalls, and related network hardware.
•    Relevant work experience in network administration or a similar role.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to details.
•    Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other IT professionals.

Please note, part of this job requires a schedule that requires hours over the night, you must be able to perform the duties required of this job at the hours below. 
Day Shift (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Evening Shift (5:00 PM - 1:00 AM)

Night Shift (1:00 AM - 9:00 AM)

 

The pay range for this position is $95,000-$105,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
