Job description

Overview

 

At SWAT Mobility, our mission is to organize the movement of cities. We believe that
technology will change how we move, and that our Core Mobility Engine has the power to
fuel the transformation of the mobility and logistics sectors. SWAT is growing quickly and
operates in Singapore, Japan, The Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Australia. We
are tackling some of the most challenging transport/logistics problems in the world’s most
congested cities.

 

We are looking for an experienced business development candidate to strengthen our team in
Thailand. This quota-carrying role will focus on developing and expanding our mobility
business in Thailand.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience with identifying new business opportunities and
growing revenues. The candidate would have worked with product managers to develop
innovative, new products and provide customer insights to the product managers to develop
the right offerings. The person should have a good network of contacts in various
manufacturing or FMCG industries with delivery or employee transport needs. He/she should
not be afraid to pick up the phone to target new prospects. This is a sales quota-carrying role
and the candidate has to be comfortable with fixed/variable compensation. SWAT is a
company in the early stages of development and the candidate should be comfortable in a
rapidly-evolving environment where results are prioritised over process.

 

Duties


● Drive growth of SWAT’s software business in Thailand
● Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth
areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services
● Achieve new sales targets and manage the end-to-end sales process
● Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
● Have a good understanding of the businesses' technological products and services and
be able to advise clients about them
● Manage key stakeholder relationships with partners and clients
● Create pitches, presentations, proposals and other customer-facing documentation
● Adhere to operating rhythm; keep pipeline updated in company CRM (Pipedrive) and
provide reporting as needed
● Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate and keep abreast of trends
in the mobility industry


Required Skills:


● Demonstrated track record of exceeding new business targets, born to sell
● Proven prospector - able to quickly build and maintain pipeline
● Independent self starter – able to function in a young company and self-driven to adapt
to the changes of a start-up environment
● Solution oriented - able to think creatively on your feet to match SWAT’s technology to
client’s most pressing needs
● Strong presentation and relationship-building skills; confidence to speak with clients,
operators and users at all levels of the organization, including senior level contacts
● Team player - able to pick up the slack to cover others as needed
● Fast learner and technologically savvy, able to pick up new tools quickly
● Sales / BD experience and working with remote HQ team strongly preferred
● Cool-headed and patient, able to effectively handle objections; strong contract
negotiator
● Passionate about customer success
