Salary Range: $120k-$150k + 10-15% annual bonus eligible
Location: This role is remote eligible, with occasional travel to Washington, D.C.
Our offices are located in Washington, D.C., and N.Y.C. and we'd be thrilled if you wanted to relocate to work with us in person. Our in-office teams come together for collaborative work in the office Tuesday through Thursday and work remotely on Monday and Friday.

Your Mission:
Your mission is to partner with our finance team, of which you are a part, and operations teams to own accounting activities, including leases, revenue recognition, managing our monthly close, and fulfilling various ad hoc requests. You will develop and implement robust policies and procedures that align with our goals and objectives, guiding us toward continuous growth and success.
You will report to our VP- Corporate Controller,
Shaun Lambert, and be one of 8 members of our Finance Team.

What You’ll Be Responsible for In Your Role: Produced timely and accurate monthly financial reporting and audited annual financials for internal and external presentationDeveloped, documented, and maintained accounting policies and procedures Established an automated and fully integrated account payables management system Completed monthly financial close process within 5 days of month-endProduced an automated and fully integrated billing system that provided accurate monthly invoices for each line of businessOversee our sales and use tax calculations, invoicing, collection, reporting, and remittance Evaluate new lease terms and ensure the initial recording and subsequent measurement is in accordance with ASC 842 Develop and enhance our customer invoicing process to include creation of invoices, collections, and cash application Assist with documenting, maintaining, and ensuring that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected Who You Are: You have a valid CPA license and a minimum 10+ years’ experience in accounting (public or private) You have a strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), in particular, Lease Accounting and Revenue Recognition (ASC 842 and 606) You have prior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience, with Oracle NetSuite experience being a plus You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analytics skills, are detail-oriented, and have a proven ability to solve multi-disciplinary problems creatively You know lease accounting from both the lessee and lessor perspectiveYou have successfully implemented systems to automate the billing, A/R, and A/P processesYou have successfully managed and coordinated all operational functions, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payrollYou have domain expertise and experience in one or more of the following sectors: i) fleet management/vehicle leasing or finance, ii) clean energy/renewables/sustainability, iii) asset investment / private credit/project finance. If you have experience in more than one of these domains, even better! You have superior organizational, process management, and communication skills when it comes to working cross-functionally with the ability to influence internal stakeholders You have demonstrated advanced time management skills to handle multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment Our Core Values:
