SMB Sales Executive

Location: Bay Area, CA (Open to Remote)

As a market leader in enterprise event management, we're launching an AI-powered platform that enables anyone to book extraordinary in-person events.    As we embark on this journey, we are in search of an accomplished Director of Sales to drive the growth of our business and lead a high-performing sales team.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Build a Meaningful Sales Pipeline and Revenue Growth:

  • Spearhead the creation and nurturing of a robust sales pipeline, focusing on high-velocity growth within the SMB and middle market segments.

  • Utilize your expertise to develop strategies that lead to consistent achievement of revenue targets.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and other teams for optimal customer engagement and retention.

2. Partnership Building with Key Platforms and Agencies:

  • Collaborate closely with leadership to establish strategic partnerships with online travel platforms, neo banking platforms, and event agencies.

  • Leverage these partnerships to expand Bizly's market reach and further position our platform as an industry leader.

3. Cultivate Cohesive Team Energy:

  • Play a pivotal role in recruiting and nurturing top-tier sales professionals, fostering a culture of shared mission and high achievement.

  • Lead by example, setting the tone for a united and motivated team that collectively drives Bizly's success.

Qualifications:

  • Charming; with highly effective presentation, demo, and sales skills

  • Exceptional proficiency in developing sales scripts, playbooks, and collateral essential for effective account acquisition in the SMB segment.

  • Proven track record of SMB sales growth

  • Strong analytical skills, adept at quantifying value and presenting compelling business case (i.e. justification) that our ICPs can share with budget owners

  • Extensive experience with modern AI tools, enabling rapid automation and efficiency in the sales process.

  • Savvy in outsourced or AI-powered lead generation, utilizing SDRs, and other tactics for profitable sales growth.

  • Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, identifying talent, and cultivating a cohesive, high-performing sales team.

  • Trustworthy, honest, and dependable, serving as a model of integrity within the organization.

  • Detail-oriented, providing comprehensive reporting while prioritizing revenue and growth as top objectives.

  • Upholds a high bar of quality, ensuring all client-facing materials meet exceptional standards.

  • Displays a scrappy work ethic, exemplifying dedication to overcoming challenges and achieving results.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
