We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who brings that special combination of relationship building, driving for results, and process development to help grow some of our mission-critical Residential programs with well-known clients. The ideal candidate must have a strong aptitude for being equally effective working in large corporate environments and within entrepreneurial sales offices. You should be skilled in being a player/coach, and leader with a consultative approach. Happy to roll up your sleeves frequently and figure things out, while also capable of strategy, and high-level assessments to ensure the business is moving in the right direction. Role Responsibilities: - Acting as a liaison between our Fortune 500 clients and our sales force in a way that grows and improves relationships - Delivering results through executing against goals (often through getting out in the field yourself and understanding barriers faced by field reps so you can come up with solutions that will drive sales - Gaining buy-in from and partnering with our sales field leaders to train and coach their sales teams on both product and process in a fun and engaging way - Pro-actively identifying issues that may arise and working to quickly find a winning resolution through problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity - Acting with integrity and partnering with our sales force to help them deliver a high level of sales quality - Collaborating both internally and externally to execute with excellence - Communicating clearly and effectively across a diverse range of stakeholders - Managing a budget and regularly consulting with your P&L to ensure you’re delivering on scorecard metrics - WOWing the field, client, and co-workers with a professional and positive approach, quick response time, and effectiveness - Successfully launching new sales offices, ensuring they are plugged into all client and Cydcor support systems and are trained in product knowledge, sales processes, and systems/procedures through organizational agility - Ensuring that sales offices and reps consistently represent the client accurately and with quality - Driving sales office performance, meeting client and campaign goals for profitability and growth in a way that grows relationships and trust - Execution of campaign initiatives, driving and handling follow-up support - Providing regular feedback to management on the status of sales offices and action plan updates - Field leader; capable of meeting campaign sales & quality standards and collaboratively partnering with sales leaders, peers, and possibly direct reports to do the same. - Ability to deliver results through influence, not status. This role requires you to be outstanding at building relationships and getting field sales excited about delivering client results and influencing clients to make adjustments to strategies and tactics that will facilitate those sales. - Strong judgment and business acumen. Knowing when to take action, when to escalate things, and having a sixth sense for assessing business risk and growth opportunities.
Skill and Experience Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in related field/equivalent work experience - 5+ years leading direct or indirect field sales teams in B2C environments - Experience with budgets and budget planning - Experience driving revenue through third-party, vendor, or distributor partner field sales reps - Highly adaptable and agile to changing and ambiguous situations - Experience with process improvement and consulting - Bilingual (French) – proficiency would be assessed - Hours typically Monday to Saturday 11- 8:30 - Excellent Communication Skills - Passion, Edge, Energy, Execution, and Charisma - Proven Student Mentality - Proficient with Microsoft Products - proficiency will be assessed - Experience working in a start-up environment is a BONUS
Working Conditions: - This is a remote position, but candidates based in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, or Vancouver are preferred - Travel within Canada (40-60% of the time) - Travel to the US 1 – 2 x per year - Some evening and weekend work may be required due to the working hours of our sales offices.
