Job description

The Director’s Office has 3 openings for a Social Services Assistant within our CD Residential Program Unit.

Job Posting Number: 3102 8985161, 8985162, & 8985163

Semi-monthly salary: $1,634.80

Annual salary: $39,235.24

Job Location: Statewide

The Department of Social Services partners with families and communities to protect children, rehabilitate youth and move families to self-sufficiency so that Missourians can lead safe, healthy and productive lives. **

The Department of Social Services Residential Services Unit assists in locating the best residential placement available for each specific child. What You’ll Do**

  • Ensure a complete packet of information is received from the Children’s Division for each child being referred for residential placement.
  • Review case files, correspondences, and confidential client information in paper and electronic forms.
  • Assist with compiling and updating both in and out of state residential placement options.
  • Assist the Residential Care Screening Team with placement logistics as needed.
  • Conduct follow up contacts as directed.

All You Need For Success

High School Diploma or High School Equivalent and possession of a valid vehicle operator’s license. **
