Job Description

Perficient is seeking a motivated Customer Experience (CX) Specialist with a commitment to understanding customers and employees in order to deliver great omnichannel experiences at any and all points of their journey.

The CX Specialist will engage in client research and analysis efforts to uncover the drivers, pain points, and unmet needs of varied target audiences across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will collaborate with others to reveal and amplify the voice of the customer to challenge the status quo and empower clients to use data strategically. The person in this role will also work within cross-functional teams to develop audience-driven artifacts that reveal new and innovative approaches to digital marketing, personalization and customer experience that leverage design thinking and other related methodologies.

This position is available immediately, and the selected candidate can work remotely from any location in the continental US.

Responsibilities**

  • Participate in planning and executing quantitative and qualitative customer research efforts, including conducting in-depth interviews.
  • Understand and interpret customer experience measurements with a CX Strategist.
  • Activate data gathering platforms, including Qualtrics (quantitative) and User Interviews (qualitative.)
  • Analyze research results and findings.
  • Support projects that enhance the client’s understanding of target audience(s) and the competitive landscape.
  • Participate in virtual sessions to facilitate experience and customer journey mapping, service blueprinting.
  • Collaborate in defining customer use cases and translating needs into business requirements.
  • Support the development of current and future user journeys, identifying key activities, touchpoints, emotions, supporting data, and opportunities.
  • Escalate project and client concerns to project and leadership teams, as needed.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience supporting CX, customer journey, personalization, or human centered design efforts.
  • Knowledge of core CX activities, including customer research, strategy, vision, design, testing, etc.
  • Proven ability to analyze research to unlock relevant insights, including customer feedback and research, behavioral analytics, and other qualitative and quantitative metrics.
  • Experience developing personas, experience maps, customer journey maps, and/or service blueprints.
  • Ability to work independently and with teams consisting of varied client and project stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, presentation, visual, storytelling and written communication skills.
  • Growth mindset, with intention to develop skills, experiment, and learn from errors.
  • Bachelor's degree or greater is required.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $45,864 to $101,520. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
