We currently have a career opportunity for a QA Solutions Architect to join our team! **

Job Overview:**

  • Provide Thought Leadership and drive innovation to evaluate and establish the architecture to support test automation across multiple test areas
  • Participate pre-sales and pursuits as a SME, work with team to provide proposals to our clients
  • Perform estimations for resource needs and timelines and provide project and solution estimation and team structure definition
  • Identify and recommend the right testing framework and tools and get alignment from clients
  • Lead QA efforts by developing Test strategies, and test plans that fit project needs
  • Define Automation strategy and document automation solution and approach
  • Helps establish project test strategy, methodologies, test plans as well as assist with QA process optimization to fit project needs
  • Drive RCA for continuous improvement as needed
  • Drive quality control around CI/CD pipeline process and implementation.
  • Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions
  • Mentor and provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building innovative applications
  • Build trusted client relationships through proactive account management and effective project delivery
  • Establishes knowledge of client business challenges and priorities to translate into opportunities
  • Maintains regular client communication and satisfaction, ensuring opportunities and challenges are addressed in a timely manner
  • Helps deliver presentations to clients and management teams
  • Contributes to project discoveries, kickoff, prepare proposals and statements of work following company standards
  • Translate client’s business needs into detailed business requirements documents, use cases and systems interaction diagrams
  • Assists project team to establish high, mid, and micro level plans for project team
  • Helps to establish critical path, milestones, delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria
  • Provides leadership throughout the lifecycles of a project, guiding the understanding the project team has through design and development to ensure project requirements are met
  • Liaise with nearshore and offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks

Responsibilities

  • Own and aggressively drive forward specific areas of technology architecture. Provide architectural solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation.
  • Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains.
  • Lead projects within architecture. Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features.
  • Project and solution estimation and team structure definition.
  • Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions.
  • Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production.
  • Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks.
  • Mentor and provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building innovative applications.
  • Drive common vision, practices and capabilities across teams.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
  • Engage with Technical Architects and technical staff to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs.
  • Demonstrate broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software testing experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a professional services company, consulting firm, or agency
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing test automation frameworks for Services, backend, and Databases
  • 5+ year of hands-on experience in implementing and using CI/CD framework technologies such as Jenkins or Bamboo and other tools
  • 3+ years of experience working as a member of an Agile team Extensive knowledge in testing API, Mobile, and Responsive web applications
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and deploying automation frameworks across web, API, and mobile platforms.
  • Fluent and current on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction
  • Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint
  • Strong hands-on automation expertise for backend service and data testing
  • In-depth knowledge of Java, C#, Python, or similar programming languages
  • Experience in at least one of the following databases: Oracle Database, MS SQL Server, or DB2
  • Experience with Version control like Git, Bitbucket
  • Ability to read code and lead code reviews activities, experience in automating at UI/AP/database level using appropriate tools
  • Knowledge of the technical stack in an n-tier application and the ability to identify different types of testing that can be applied in each tier.
  • Ability to read code and participate in code reviews, experience in automating at UI/AP/database level using appropriate tools
  • Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices Track record of leadership roles delivering solutions within defined
  • Someone who seeks to understand the "why" and not just the "what" Someone who drives to deliver customer value versus meeting customer demands and someone who persistently drives activity to achieve results Must have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture
  • Desire to mentor younger team members and develop their skills
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail oriented, well organized, and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Agile and iterative development methodologies
  • Testing experience with AI , NLP, chatbots, IoT is a plus
  • Experience with Performance testing and Performance engineering is a plus
  • Experience with Data Masking and Test Data Management is a plus

Preferred skills and education:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight
  • Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices
  • Track record of leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090 . Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
