Join our team at a rapidly growing international e-commerce company! We are on the lookout for a motivated and dynamic IT License Specialist to support our license management. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our operations in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. **

Key Responsibilities:**

  • As a vital member of our IT Service Department, you will assist in managing and optimizing the software license lifecycle in collaboration with various departments.
  • Your primary focus will be on assisting with the procurement and renewal of software licenses and contracts, working closely with the purchasing department.
  • You will help maintain the license compliance status of our software, participating in internal and vendor audits as needed.
  • Offer support in advising departments on license-related queries and issues, both within and external to the IT team.
  • Collaborate with IT teams in the preliminary evaluation of new software products.
  • Contribute to the development of reports and metrics that reflect license usage and compliance.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a related field. Candidates with a strong interest in IT license management are encouraged to apply, even without a specific focus in computer science.
  • Some experience or understanding of contract management and IT asset management is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with current license models of major software manufacturers is advantageous, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft enterprise licensing, which is crucial for this role.
  • The following abbreviations are familiar to you: KMS, LTSC, Client-CAL, E1 or E3
  • Knowledge of IT standards and practices like ITIL or COBIT is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • You should be an organized, adaptable team player with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
