Job description

Fundraising Officer

Salary: £26,915, with future progression to £30,242 (pro rata if part time)Location: The role can be remote based at home, or office based, or a combination of office/home based, depending on your preference. Our office locations are Birkenhead, Birmingham or CardiffHours: Flexible: Full time (35 hours per week), or Part time (21 hours or more) considered. Flexible working pattern available.Contract : Temporary Position (maternity cover) for 6-12 months initially with potential to extend funding permitting.

The VacancyWe are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and results-driven Fundraising Officer to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.You will have an appreciation of the work of NYAS and the challenges faced by care experienced children and young people who NYAS support with a view to helping us change young lives. We have ambitious plans in England and Wales to secure our fantastic existing projects and to develop new projects to help more young people.Duties include: - Design and implement fundraising products and programmes for corporate, community and individual giving fundraising. - Manage our portfolio of events and challenges and support entrants to reach and exceed their fundraising goals. - Work closely with NYAS’ wider Communications and Marketing team to identify and encourage fundraisers willing to share their story, helping to facilitate PR coverage, raise awareness of NYAS, and create a loyal supporter base. - Proactively develop and take forward NYAS’ fundraising strategy.
