Job SummaryDelivers on revenue and attains sales goals primarily through outbound sales calls and visits. Develops and implements sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets in assigned territory. Generates new revenue-producing business via phone and field sales calls. Educates customers on benefits of utilizing OEC’s products and services. Provides regular contact with customers and prospects within territory to drive additional product sales to new and existing accounts. Key Responsibilities 1. Drives all aspects of the sales cycle from prospect identification to sale closure, including qualification, deal development, quotations and contracting. 2. Makes outbound calls and/or visits automotive dealerships and the distributor community to sell products and services that attain or exceed 100% of assigned revenue targets. 3. Assesses territory using creative approaches and implements sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets. 4. Maintains a high level of customer activity with a tenacious, driven and resilient spirit in attaining sales. 5. Works closely with Customer Success team to ensure newly enrolled customers are set up for success. 6. Develops relationships to be able to sell to new prospects and maintains current relationships to sell package upgrades and/or add-on opportunities. 7. Receives incoming requests for sales information from customers and prospects, responds to questions, and suggests OEC solutions that could result in additional product, service or upgrade sales. 8. Creates standard reporting for assigned territory and product(s), and forwards to management with information on the selling environment relating to competition, marketing, and pricing. 9. Utilizes OEC’s customer database to maintain complete call records and validate customer/account information.
EducationA high-school diploma or equivalent GED is required. Experience - At least 2 years of experience in a business-to-business sales role with demonstrated ability to produce quantifiable results through outbound efforts. - Previous automotive industry or software sales experience is not required, but desired. - Proven track record of building and maintaining effective customer relationships and territory management. - Prior experience utilizing a computerized customer database. - Completes routine assignments without direction or prompting; receives assistance in the completion of more complex tasks.
Travel** - Occasional travel may be required to attend industry events and customer/team meetings. (<10%)
