We are a busy mobile medical diagnostic company currently seeking responsible, friendly and professional individuals for the position of Radiology Technologist/X-Ray Tech. You will be administering portable exams, using one of our well-equipped vehicles. Exams are performed bedside using remotely connected digital equipment - send your exams via the internet and burn images to CDs.

DESCRIPTION: Perform digital radiographic examinations and EKGs at a variety of facilities (nursing homes, clinics, mental health facilities, retirement centers, and private residences) throughout the Bay Area. **

Responsibilities**

  • Respond to scheduled or STAT radiographic examinations/EKGs in a timely manner
  • Follow proper patient identification by using two active identifiers
  • Review order form to ensure all required fields are filled out including, but not limited to, patient name, room number, date of birth, ordering physician, diagnosis and insurance information (e.g., Medicare ID number)
  • Adhere to commonly accepted infection control practices (i.e., gloves and washing hands before and after patient contact)
  • Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic examinations
  • Determine most suitable anatomical posture; position and shield patients accordingly
  • Maintain proper documentation by making appropriate entries on forms when exam has been completed - tech name, date of service, time exam performed, and number of patients seen at facility
  • Technologist must be able to travel from location to location and be physically able to load and unload equipment from the vehicle multiple times per shift

Requirements

  • Radiology Technologist License, CRT (ARRT preferred, but not required)
  • CPR certification
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Excellent driving record mandatory
  • Strong computer skills

Full/part-time and on-call positions available. We operate 24/7; various shifts are available. An occasional weekend or holiday shift will be required. Signing bonus - $3000.

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: $35 - $45 Hourly
