Essential Functions**

- In collaboration with the Director of Network Operations, develops a regional Network strategy (including network depth, network and service line expansion, provide volume, service quality, and pricing options) that aligns with Company goals. This would include executing on related presentations and reporting required by Management.
- Oversees the regional cost management of the Provider Network with the overall goal of aligning the Provider Network costs to market pricing, placing importance on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) management and reduction.
- Oversees the regional relationships and contract negotiations with external Providers to align StateServ’s overall business strategies. With a comprehensive understanding of the Provider Network and Client contracts regarding terms and conditions, contract management, contract compliance, pricing structures, and all financial aspects, executes a strategy to ensure the region of the Provider Network is managed by viable commercial agreements to ensure pricing and contract terms which align with StateServ’s goals. This would include timely completion of Provider activities as aligned with the requirements of provider and client onboarding, and provider contract compliance.
- Ensures a consistent level of service and support to clients and the Provider Network while executing on State and Regional plans, including providing access to quality Providers and specialty equipment/services. This includes oversight of Provider Network planning to ensure the Network has two viable DME Provider options in all markets, manages and reduces the risk of volume overleveraging with Providers, properly aligns contractual terms to protect the business from external influences, vets current and prospective Provider’s ability and viability to meet service level agreements, and increase the number of viable Providers in the Network.
- Responsible for providing special attention to identified initiatives to support high velocity Client/DME Provider onboarding to include strategic contracting, network expansion, and relationship management, as aligned with strategic business goals and growth plans.
- Oversees the regional quality and service level management with external Providers to align with contractual requirements and client expectations. This includes service level reviews and education, Provider site/warehouse audits, PAR level inventory reviews and consultations, market and Provider performance improvement plans, and Client Services business review support.
- Responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the Provider Contracts Coordinators (PCCs) in the Manager’s region, including assisting in prioritization of tasks/projects and ensuring the team is keeping patient care as the highest priority.
- Spearheads cross-functional collaboration with other teams including but not limited to implementation, billing, finance, sales, client services, and technology. Identifies and implements process improvements to impact business outcomes, orchestrating communication, and change.
- In collaboration with the Director of Network Operations, oversees the recruitment, selection, orientation, onboarding, training, coaching and management for the region of the network operations team. This may include but is not limited to organizing work and tasks within the network operations department. Ensures team members understand their respective assignments, answers questions, and facilitates team discussions, as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education, Licensure or Certification:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Work Experience Or Related Experience
- Three years of sales, negotiation, and/or cost analysis experience, including data/pricing modeling and strategic planning.
- Three years of experience in which candidate regularly interfaces with vendors and provides quality problem resolution and proactive, quality onboarding. Experience should also include administrative support, including general analytics and the presentation of information.
- Customer support, relationship management, and/or direct vendor management experience preferred.
- Experience in healthcare or medical fields in which incumbents have gained an understanding of durable medical equipment is strongly preferred.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- The ability to oversee and manage multi-faceted operations is required as normally obtained through one year of related, progressively responsible experience.
- Direct managerial experience of exempt professional level staff is strongly preferred.
- Operational experience in a managed care or network management health care environment is strongly preferred.
- Operational experience in a software or technology environment is strongly preferred.
- The ability to effectively execute operational directives as normally obtained by progressively responsible service-related experience in which the candidate executed operations strategies and initiatives.
- A high level of professionalism, customer service and discretion are required to represent the organization and interact with other organizations as described.
Equipment
- Working knowledge of a PC, business and communications software (MS Office) and web-based tools are required.

- Work is generally performed in an office environment or remote home office setting in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions.
