Job Description

The Brand Head of Marketing will lead the brand marketing efforts for CENTURY 21 Real Estate. This position will work in conjunction with the brand leadership team and the Head of Marketing’s supervisor to formulate and operationalize the brand’s marketing strategy and lead all aspects of the execution to ultimately drive market share growth. This leader will have a deep focus on brand marketing and driving franchisee and agent engagement with the brand, as well as driving intent toward the brand among home buyers and sellers. They will be the brand storyteller; crafting, planning for, and delivering the brand in a compelling way to each audience. They will lead the team which drives the brand marketing, offerings, and programs. **

Responsibilities**

  • Work closely with the Brand President and other brand and company leaders to formulate the long range brand global marketing strategy with nearer term plans, goals, and growth objectives, and agreed upon success measures.
  • Lead the implementation of the brand global marketing strategy to support market share growth and constantly improve brand engagement by franchisees and agents, and drive intent among home buyers and sellers.
  • Partner with brand Sales, Operations, Learning, and Servicing teams to ensure the needs of the customer are understood and that the brand's positioning, marketing and media plans are strategically and tactically positioned to meet them.
  • Understand market conditions to identify threats and opportunities and adapt strategy to changing market conditions to include that voice of customer as well as competitive differentiation.
  • Define and deliver a plan in support of franchise growth and retention.
  • Closely align with brand’s franchisee network, including delivery of tailored marketing services at the brokerage level.
  • Manage external agency relationships and improve value of these relationships as well as media planning and spend.
  • Regularly and systematically evaluate the results of marketing strategy and programs by return on investment and report findings/trends as well as strategy recommendations to key partners.
  • Coordinate annual marketing budget.
  • Provide decisive leadership of the brand marketing team through effective organizational design, recruitment, staff development, team building, and performance management.
  • In collaboration with the position’s supervisor, develop cross brand harmonies and opportunities to drive integration and efficiencies in marketing spend and delivery.
  • Engage with real estate and marketing/media industries as a brand facing representative.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated career progression and marketing experience and 5+ years of leadership/staff management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, advertising, and media oversight/media investment as well as 5+ years of experience in managing outside advertising agencies.
  • 5+ years of experience in the real estate industry and working directly with real estate brokers is strongly preferred. Experience working with independent sales professionals is a strong plus.
  • Strong financial skills, demonstrated experience effectively managing marketing spend and a consistent record of customer satisfaction in a sales environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and leadership presence to cultivate high functioning relationships with franchise affiliate and agent networks, as well as across a shared services model. Demonstrated ability to deliver messaging effectively, including virtually and at large in-person events.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills and a high level of integrity. The job also requires the candidate to have experience with sales enablement and the ability to operate in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel 25%

Compensation Range**

$170,000 - $185,000 ; At Anywhere, actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications. **
